What to Consider When Buying Shrugs and Wraps
There are a number of things that need careful consideration when you are going about choosing what to wear with your outfit. Such things as
- The occasion. Shrugs and wraps are great for most occasions, but each have their own needs. Weddings, for example, are a great time to wear a shrug over the shoulder, able to keep you warm in a cold church whilst highlighting the outfit you have put together.
- Style. The style you go for on shrugs and wraps should compliments your own style. You are not looking for an exact match of a dress here but one that will compliment it and set it off.
- Color. Like style you want color that compliments your outfit. It is particularly important that you do not pick the same color as your dress as that will simply create too big a block of color.
- Patterns. Be careful when picking patterns for shrugs and wraps as the last thing you want to do is make an outfit look too ‘busy’, which can happen with patterns. Make sure that if you are using a pattern for a dress that the shrug of wrap is plain (and vice versa).
Buying Shrugs for Dresses
Obviously the best way to guarantee getting the shrugs and wraps that you want to buy is to shop around a bit (sounds like a great excuse to us), to look at adverts and special offers where possible and give yourself as much of a range as you can to pick from.

I like to wear shrugs and wraps because I don’t have the guts to show my arms. Not because I have huge arms, it’s because I have black underarms. So I personally think these items can help in hiding it LOL. Thank you for a very helpful post. I would like to suggest that you share this at http://www.lifo.com. It is a fun site for girls that allow them to share their beauty secrets and fashion ideas to other girls.
Having read this I thought it was very informative. I appreciate you taking the time and effort to put this article together. I once again find myself spending way to much time both reading and commenting. But so what, it was still worth it!
Excellent post, lots of the material was quite helpful.
You really make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this matter to be actually something that I think I would never understand. It seems too complicated and very broad for me. I’m looking forward for your next post, I will try to get the hang of it!
Brilliant, thanks, I will subscribe to you RSS soon!
